About This Spot

Stepping into Bella Pizza feels like slipping into a familiar neighborhood haven, where the hum of conversations blends seamlessly with the comforting aroma of freshly baked dough and simmering sauces. The pace here is easygoing, a gentle reminder to slow down and savor the simple pleasures of good company and even better food. Though the dining room carries a hint of rustic simplicity—sometimes a bit cooler than one might wish—the warmth in the air comes from the care that families and friends pour into every meal.

This is a place where the pizza crust achieves a delicate balance: airy yet sturdy, with just the right hint of crispness beneath. You’ll notice how the cheese melts without heavy grease, making each slice feel honest and light, just as a genuinely home-crafted pizza should be. Beyond the pies, platters of wings and generous portions of traditional Italian dishes echo a sense of hearty comfort and thoughtful preparation, inviting you to pause and enjoy without rush.

Whether you’re pulled here by the craving for that familiar tomato tang or the tender, savory layers of a well-loved classic, there’s an unmistakable feeling that this is a family-run spot, grounded in tradition with a genuine pride in its craft. The welcoming service—and the sense that you’re not just another order—adds a quiet layer of belonging, making Bella Pizza not just a meal, but a small, meaningful experience in the wider fabric of Taberg life.

Might be the best pizza in Rome...that's not in Rome. Good sauce without a ton of sugar ( like most Rome pizza) fluffy crust and real cheese without all the grease. Prices are good too.

It was our first time trying them. Ordered pizza with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, and mushrooms. Great texture and flavor. Also ordered 30 mild wings. Nice plump and seasoned just right. Very happy with our service. Just wished they had to go menus! When I asked for one the gentleman said, "everyone just takes pictures of the menu boards", so that's what I did. As long as everything stays as I was with this meal, I will continue to use them!

I always forget how good this place is. Just had it tonight for the first time in a bit. Great pizza crust, just the right amount of salt and flour, nice crispy bottom. The wings were very crispy as well. I give 4.7 out of 5. Only thing I would improve is a bit more flavor in the Medium wing sauce, it was good but not great. Everything else was perfect

The only downside of eating at the restaurant, it was pretty cold in the dining area. They were doing a lot of take out business and offer delivery 4 to 9pm. It was fantastic authentic Italian food. I had egg plant parmasion, my husband had lasagna. Huge portions. Very friendly owners.I highly recommend this much more than a pizza place.

Love their Food, everything is home made. They are a great family business. Their prices are really too low, got a large pepperoni pizza (best around) and it was just under 20$. The building is not great, the people and food are.

I've bought pizza here three times now and I have to say, it's some of the best pizza in the area! Sooo delicious. The actual place is kind of railed, but it doesn't take away from the experience. The owners are incredibly nice, too. Everything is homemade. Really recommended.

Small town pizzeria with quality ingredients. The calzones are small compared to the price. The ingr3dients used were phenomenal. It seemed like an Italian family owned business where you can order Italiano food and listen to Italian in the kitchen. The marinara is not what most NYers will expect its much more soup like with good flavor. The cheese is a good mozzeralla flavor and stretch. Bathroom was out of order. There were no hand menus only wall menu listing. The fried vegatables were good-sized from being slightly over cooked. The dough and the cheese is some of the best you will find.

Ordered medium pizza and wing special and 2 liter of soda came to 48 with the delivery. Not bad in my opinion, when delivery arrived he didn’t have my soda but did offer to go back to get it. Overall wings were phenomenal and pizza was a bit on the dark side but flavor was there. Not a bad place to eat.
